There are two varieties of wasps in New England. One is new to the area in the last 16 years called Dominula. They are yellow and black striped. Many people mistake them for yellow jackets but the main difference is that these wasps make an open come nest. They are not as numerous as yellow jackets, but they are protective of their nests. They often hide in cracks and behind shutters.
The other variety are the common brown wasp. They are not as prolific as they once were, however we have noticed they are making a comeback.
We have developed several all-natural methods to rid your property of these stinging pests. We even invented the Wasp Shutter Guards and Wasp Fence Guards to stop them from coming back every year.
